Important Information for Your Comfort & Safety

Floating sound baths are gentle, restorative experiences designed to calm the nervous system and support deep relaxation. Most people find the session soothing, peaceful and grounding. However, there are certain situations where additional care or consideration may be needed.

To help you make the best decision for your wellbeing, please read the following guidance carefully.

Who Should & Shouldn’t Attend a Floating Sound Bath

Who Can Usually Attend Safely

Most guests can comfortably enjoy a floating sound bath, including those who:

  • Are seeking relaxation and stress relief

  • Experience anxiety, overwhelm or burnout

  • Would like to support emotional wellbeing

  • Want to enjoy a quiet, meditative experience

  • Are comfortable lying still on a floating airbed for the duration of the session

No prior experience is required.

Situations Where Caution Is Advised

If any of the following apply, we strongly recommend seeking advice from a qualified medical professional before attending:

  • Cardiovascular conditions

  • Respiratory conditions affected by warm or humid environments

  • Recent surgery or injury that may affect mobility or lying down comfortably

  • Epilepsy or other seizure conditions

  • Severe tinnitus (sound therapy may increase sensitivity)

  • Severe balance/inner-ear disorders

  • Conditions affecting your ability to enter or exit a poolside area safely

  • Allergies or sensitivities to fragrances if oils/incense are used (occasionally, depending on venue)

We cannot provide medical clearance.
Only a healthcare professional who understands your personal health circumstances can do that.

Who Should NOT Attend According to Common Clinical Guidance

The following groups are generally advised not to participate in traditional sound therapy or floating water-based sessions:

Pregnancy (first trimester)

Not due to known risks, but because clinical research is limited. We recommend consulting your midwife or doctor before booking.

Individuals with uncontrolled or severe mental health crises

Sound therapy may not be suitable during acute episodes. Professional clinical support is recommended first.

Anyone who may be unable to remain silent or still for the duration of the session

This includes conditions that cause involuntary vocalisation or movement, as the environment relies on calm and stillness for all guests.

Anyone who cannot safely enter or exit the floating bed with gentle assistance

Our team provides full support, but personal safety is always the priority.

If any of these apply, please seek advice before booking.
